Congratulations to La Quinta Arts Foundation Visual Arts Scholarship recipient Erika Walters! Her thesis film “Thief,” on which she worked as Production Designer while earning her MFA at American Film Institute last year is an official selection at the Palm Springs International ShortFest 2011. Plus, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has awarded “Thief” the Gold Medal (Narrative) at the 38th Student Academy Awards on June 11, 2011. La Quinta Arts Foundation is proudly listed as 'Sponsor" on the film credits for our contribution to Erika's work on the project. 'Thief'
