LQAF’s Artifacts newsletter had been published from Spring of 1986 through Spring of 2008.  Over the years Artifacts had served to spread the word about LQAF’s goals and achievements in fulfilling our non-profit mission objectives.

LQAF Newsletter – Spring 2008

In this issue, it’s all about the artists!  Starting with La Quinta Arts Festival featured artist James LaCasse, to Distinguished Artists of La Quinta Eric C. Johnson and Elliott Newton, to Larry and Nancy Cush who are creating a tile mural for the City’s Art in Public Places program, to Jim Stallings commissioned for an event at MOCA.  Rounding the issue out with Visual Art Scholarship Students James Gallindo (you will remember his gift of a paining of horses to Merv Griffin at last year’s anniversary gala) to Diana Childers donating her time to teach art therapy at a substance abuse rehabilitation center – as we said, it’s all about the artists!
