La Quinta Museum Exhibition | Creativity in La Quinta – Take Two

LQAF Blog

Come to the La Quinta Museum to see what 31 talented La Quinta residents are creating. It is an expanded follow-up to last year’s collection of local art exclusively from the La Quinta Cove neighborhood. This city-wide group exhibition features painting, sculpture, illustration, photography, paper mache, assemblage, fabric art, jewelry, collage, metalwork, fused glass, ceramic art, and mixed media-all  chosen by Anne Phillips, museum manager.

In conjunction with the fall exhibition, The La Quinta Historical Society is sponsoring five two to three hour workshops conducted by La Quinta artist Ann Wolfe with a focus on repurposing everyday items into art. The projects run through December 6 and feature decorating with magazines, mosaics, eggshell art and jewelry Christmas trees. The cost for each workshop is $15.
