 Once again La Quinta Arts Foundation and Old Town La Quinta will present Art Under the Umbrellas during the 2006/07 season. These events are free to the public with ample public parking and definitely set a new standard for public art shows. Over 50 artists from Southern California, Arizona and Nevada will exhibit and sell their unique art as well as demonstrate their skills on these Saturday events. The time is 10 am to dusk on each of the following five Saturdays: October 21, 2006 November 18, 2006 January 20, 2007 February 10, 2007 April 14, 2007 (The April 14th date is limited to Artists living in the Coachella Valley, as it will be in conjunction with "A Taste of La Quinta.")
and boutiques in an early California setting called Old Town La Quinta. The expansion of the complex will be completed in October 2006 providing more charming area to showcase fabulous art.
