Mario Cesario is considered one of the finest clubmakers and premier designers the sport of golf has seen in the 20th century.  Professionals, dignitaries and celebrities have played with Cesario’s custom designed, handcrafted clubs.  A pioneer in the industry with a career spanning 55 years, Cesario was made an Honorary Life Member of the Southern California Section of the PGA of America in 1984 and in 2000 he was inducted into the Professional Clubmker’s Society, Clubmakers Hall of Fame. 

The exhibit will also showcase the evolution of the golf ball and memorabilia from desert golf tournaments throughout the years.

08 January – 5pm to 7pm – Opening Reception – Meet Mario Cesario and the Bob Hope Classic Girls as we tee off this exhibit!

09 January – 10am to 12 noon – The First Tee – Interactive golf program for children age 6 through 16.  Limited to 30 children. Please RSVP to 760-777-7170.

11 January – 2pm to 4pm – Join us at SilverRock Resort for a Round Table Discussion with Golf Greats:  Mario Cesario, Marlene Hagge, Dan Poppers, Greg Cesario, Ted Lyford, Jeff Johnson, Fred Scherzer, Dave Evans, Ken Venturi and more…

14 January – 12 noon to 1pm – Golf Fitness – How to improve your swing through exercise with Titleist’s Golf Fitness program presented by Dr. Hashimoto.

23 January – 10am to 12 noon – La Quinta’s Golf Legacy– Lecture by Judy Vossler, Vice President, Landmark Golf.

30 January – 10:30am to 12 noon – Reflections on the Hope and Golf in La Quinta with Desert Sun Golf Writer and author of 50 Years of Hope by Larry Bohannan.  Book signing will follow the lecture.
