2007/2008 Artist Advisory Board

The Festival Advisory Board was formed in 2003 enlisting guidance from some of Festival’s most talented and respected artists as to how La Quinta Arts Festival can continue to improve and grow in stature. Over the past two years, the Artist Advisors have willingly shared their experiences, ideas, concerns and accolades about art festivals in general.

Their enthusiam is contagious! In Spring 2004, they embraced our selection of the CIvic Center Campus as the venue for the Festival and then helped us design the layout as well at the height of a very warm summer. They have solicited sponsors, play an active role in the jury system, encourage vibrant new artists to apply to our Festival, make phone calls on our behalf, support and give positive suggestions whenever we may have doubts and have become an integral part of our Volunteer base..

La Quinta Arts Foundation is proud that our artists are taking ownership of and making a committment to La Quinta Arts Festival by playing an active role in its success, well beyond their own needs and expectations as Festival exhibitors. We hope that all art patrons and peer artists will recognize their achievement and applaud their dedication. It has been a real team effort!
